This books was very addicted! I read it as an audio book and I really enjoyed the narrator. I love all the flash backs and found myself looking forward to learning about their past’s together! It gave me slight normal people vibes like childhood friends to lovers. Charlie is hot lol. I find the FMC very relatable and the MMC super charming! I love a lake house!!! Perfect summer read

I’m not quite sure how I feel about this book. It was definitely enjoyable to read, especially in the beginning. The author did a great job with the imagery and world building, where you could easily imagine being on the lake. Honestly, it was a really great book, up until
the characters go to college, Sam distances himself from Percy, and Percy and Charlie hook up. It just felt so trite and overdone, with the cheating and miscommunication. Sure, they were teenagers and it happens, but it felt like a cheap and predictable way to end the book.

I don’t typically read much romance, but had heard good things about this book and I’m glad I read it! The lake setting was a perfect read for summer. The romance felt natural and not too cheesy or trope-y, which is usually my gripe with romance books. A great summer read

The story telling was fabulous. She broke my heart and put it back together in a realistic way. Somehow Carley captured love and heartbreak in way that is exactly how you feel it as a teen and into adulthood.
