This narrator change wasn’t great. I felt like the change of the narrator did nothing to help the storyline. The narrator didn’t really communicate the love story that well, and I remember the love story being much better the first time I read it. Now, Dimitri just kind of creeps me out, especially as a 24 year-old currently I could never see myself messing with a 17-year-old.

Ini seperti Star Wars episode II : Revenge of The Sith dimana Anakin memilih the dark side, no happy ending krn itulah awal mula kejatuhan galaksi. Buku ini juga awal kejatuhan hubungan antara Rose & DImitri. Padahal ak selalu menunggu-nunggu scene Rose & Dimitri walau itu hanya scene mereka berlatih bersama.
Kehilangan Dimitri itu benar2 rasa sakit kehilangan Mason 100 kali lipat. Padahal Dimitri udh mulai membuka kemungkinan untuk menyusun masa depan dgn Rose (spoiler : they finally did the do & talking about their possibility to be together in the future).
This hurt so much. Aku sampai melempar buku ke tembok, untungnya bkn ebook ya jd ak gk banting tablet atau smartphone...

A little background, I rereading my fav fantasy series since I was ten
I’m crying like for the first time. I can’t imagine how I loved it after this at 10 years old, like my mom bought me the next book in a month or so. I just - you know - normally was living after the words:
“I set off, off to kill the man I loved” ??!!?
I can’t describe my love for this series, it’s just some universal experience. That’s actually so amazing to reread something and that still so fucking good.
I mean, I have read hundreds of series, contemporary and modern ones, but this one is still amazing and well-written. The 10 yo me was so clever to distinguish it.
The love between Dimitri and Roza is something so fragile and beautiful and I always thought, how that life would have been if they stayed together at school.
The main plot of this book is still a masterpiece, the council thing back in 2012 being so modern.

I wish I had these books before I discovered the horrible series of Twilight. Not to compare them too much as they are somewhat differemt, this author is a much better writer, and the characters are easy to connect with. It was a good "pool" book. I've finished books 1-3 in about a week. Very good reads! I gave it 4 stars which is hard for me to do.
My Absolute favorite book from the series. Rose and Dimitri finally think thy have a chance and Richelle twists the plot around completely. When Dimitri led the rescue and then ended up getting captured, His fortune came true. He lot his Soul.
I started the Vampire Academy series on a Friday. I finished the first book that day, the second, third, and fourth over the weekend, and the last two on Monday and Tuesday. So yeah, you could say I enjoyed this series!
