It really has been a long time since i read such a good book!It wasn't just the good plot,the loveable characters and the really tight and fast paced writting style,this book actually made you think about it even when you weren't reading it.An amazing book that everyone should read!

I’m about 12 years too late on starting The Hunger Games but I was convinced to read the series when I saw this simply stunning hard cover box set. How could I resist?

The Hunger Games follows Katniss Everdeen though life in the coal mining District 12. Capitol of Panem sits on what used to be North America and to keep control over the districts the Capitol requires one boy and one girl tribute from each district to enter an arena and fight to the death in a nationally televised event called The Hunger Games.
I’d gone into this book knowing basically nothing. I hadn’t seen the movies but I did know a few small details. I really enjoyed reading The Hunger Games. I found Suzanne Collins writing style to be easy to follow and everything flowed smoothly.
Overall I rated The Hunger Games 5 stars and read it in 2 days. I’m already looking forward to the rest of the series!
