This def did not have “middle book” syndrome! What I love most is there is no “perfect” character. Everyone is FLAWED, but their flaws are what make their steps what they are. The world building is so incredible and complex without feeling impossible to understand! Essun has a mission and Nassun has seeing her light..so to read how that mission is a “threat” to Nassuns light was such a battle…just an incredible continuation.

Such a creative story line. It’s so refreshing to read something that expands your pattern of thought. I’m looking forward to reading the next book and finding out what happens with the moon!
