Not sure about this. On the one hand, I enjoyed the letters back and forth. On the other, what kind of war is this? The gods thing seems to be an afterthought and isn't as fleshed out. This story could've taken place during any war, minus the random monsters and then tear gas??? Huh? Will I read the next one? Sure. Can I wait to read it? Definitely.
