loved it

Liam had played around with women for years, but when he finds himself suddenly babysitting his band mate's little sister, all hell breaks loose when she continues to walk in on him and his ladies.
Clove has loved Liam forever and when he left all those years ago, he broke her heart. Now she has to put up with the revolving chorus of women through her brother's home where she is staying.
A mishaps brings them together, but can they work through the past issues to become a couple?
When Liam almost loses Clove to a medical emergency, he is frantic. Not even being his friends little sister will keep Clove from taking center place in his life, but can Clove accept she is really the only one Liam loves?

In Alluring Turmoil, Skye introduced us to Jude Delecroix. Next, in Alluring Seduction, we met Jessie Adams. Now, in Alluring Temptation, we meet Liam Christianson. And, OH MY GOODNESS! I am pretty sure that Liam is my favorite member (so far!) of the Bayou Stix band. Skye has truly outdone herself with this man.

On the surface, Liam appears to be nothing but a male whore. Women come and go and he does not care about any of them. And, because of this Clove, who is the sister of one of his bandmates, can’t stand him. They are constantly at each other’s throats, but is it really anger or is it a mask for attraction?

Clove and Liam’s journey to a relationship is one of the most realistic I’ve ever read. Both of them have some serious baggage and because of that they both have up a wall and use various defense mechanisms to keep people away from their heart.

I truly enjoyed the previous books in the series, but Alluring Temptation is by far my favorite!!! Skye has written a book that touches on all sensory levels. Each book has some Louisiana flair and you can smell and almost taste the food mentioned. She writes with such great detail, that you can see the landmarks and even imagine the facial expressions of the characters. You can hear the dialogue as it is written in a way that regular, everyday folks can relate to. And, touch – with her books, you want to go inside of them and give hugs, a pat on the shoulder, or even a little more with the men LOL!

Sure, Bayou Stix is a band, but these aren’t your typical rock band books. Skye writes about the heart of each member and focuses on what lies beneath their rock star exterior. In each character (whether a band member, girlfriend, or a friend), I am reminded of something that we all want: someone to look past our looks and our life as the world sees it and to truly get to know us and what is in our heart.

Congrats to Skye Turner on writing another excellent book and I can’t wait for the next one!!!

And Skye has gone and done it again!!!!

This is book 3 on The Bayou Stix series and is Liam and Clove’s story.

This book was amazing!!!! In true Skye style, it knocked me off my feet. Not one of her Bayou Stix books is the same, but this one was not like the others, at all, but in such a good way. Its her best one yet.

Well written, loved the storyline and how different it was from the other books on this series. The characters as always are well developed and funny; loved them. Liam is a sexy, beautiful, and behind his man slut facade a very sweet, kind and protective guy. Clove is Dade’s sister and she came home after dealing with a cheating ex and other things. She is beautiful, smart and an amazing chef. Both Clove and Liam are living with Dade, and things get interesting, to say the least.

I don’t want to say much about the story cause I want you to be as surprised as I was, and experience this ride at full force. What I can tell you is, you will laugh, cry, laugh some more, swoon, and more crying and laughing. I cried so much, some parts gutted me, it was so emotional and incredibly beautiful. I can't even put into words how much I love Liam, OMG, holy mother of all thats holy, he is so, soooo swoony!!!!

Go get this book, and if you haven’t read this series, drop what you are doing and get it, you will not be sorry. Can’t wait for the next book!!!! <3

Skye Turner does it again! Liam has intrigued me from the beginning and I couldn't wait for this book so that I could learn more about him. Liam and Clove take you on one heck of a bumpy road trip. Clove dispite her circumstances and insecurities is still a strong female lead. The insecurities that she struggles with are something that I think many would feel giving her situation and that makes her a very easy character to relate too. While they try to figure out thier differences under the watchful eye of thier friends and family you get to have a deeper look into why both characters act the way they that they do.

Skye Turner has an amazing ability to get the reader to connect with her characters. Even if they are not the main character in the book as a reader I have always felt a connection to each and every character!

ARC received for an honest review

This is the 3rd novel in the Bayou Stix series, and I think it is the best so far!

Skye Turner has drawn me back into the loves and lives of the men of Bayou Stix, and this is Liam Christianson's book.

After a bad breakup, Liam's bandmate Dade has his sister move back home and into his house. Liam is currently living in Dade's house, and as kind of a built in "babysitter" for 23 year old Clove.

These two could not be more different if they tried. Liam is the consummate rock star. Never settling down, a parade of women in and out of his bed room. Clove is young and sweet and innocent, so not what Liam wants or needs.

Or is she??

I love the bickering, the snarky remarks, the fighting between Liam and Clove. There is a fine line between love and hate, and this pair are toeing that line. Even behind all the sniping at each other, you can feel that it is not at all malicious.

In fact, you could cut the unresolved sexual tension between the two with a knife!!

The sparks just fly between Liam and Clove. I could understand why Liam does not want to act on the attraction (hell, she is his friend's baby sister, who wants to ruin that friendship if things go sour between them) but I just wanted them to forget about everyone else, and do what is best for themselves.

So, do they act on the attraction, or will they forever be looking at each other across the room, pining away?

Nuh uh ~ for that you are going to have to read for yourself.

I loved that we got more of the other band mates and their family and friends. This is such a close knit group of friends that no story would be complete if they weren't sticking their nose in everyone else's business, givig their two cents worth, and being the wonderful support group for each other.

I think this series just keeps getting better and better, and with that little set up of Dade's story at the end of this one, I can't wait for book 4!!
