Does not live up to all the hype. I found it creepy and slow moving.
I finished this book SO quickly. I was obsessed and I already want to read it again. I was immediately completely immersed in the story. Jess Lourey does an amazing job at setting the scene and created such interesting characters. It’s been a while since I read a book this good.

Well-written and engaging, but as it neared the last few chapters, I started to think to myself, "How is this going to wrap up logically?" Well, it didn't, not by a long stretch. By the time the story ended (if you can call it an ending) I was *extremely* disappointed. I actually checked to make sure I didn't miss a chapter or two, that's how ridiculous the conclusion was. Way too many loose ends, not just for plot, but for character development as well!

Pretty slow over all, but I wanted to keep reading because it was based on a true story. The atrocity of the life in this town is wild to me. May justice be delivered where justice needs to be served.
