Loved this book, loved the writing, loved this world, loved this magic, loved this series. I hate that this is the end. I could have read about these queens for the rest of my days!!! That ending did not disappoint me one bit. Great read!

I found this ending deeply unsatisfying. First of all, Billy is deeply annoying and pointless. Every character just kind of followed the rules and did their thing. That was pretty boring. Every other book had a cool new piece of magic or significant intrigue and this one just kind of ran its course. Also I found the world building pretty inconsistent in this one. Not up to the caliber of the other books in the series.

I felt the book was pretty fast paced for a finale and the title took a while to make sense to me.
A pretty satisfying conclusion to the story.
The way the story lines crossed and merged was seamless and beautiful.
