This book really feels like the end, there is no yearning for more it gave me such good closure and the epilogue really felt like a goodbye of the characters.

I liked this series. Is there a pacing issue? yes. Are there some very unlikeable characters? definitely. Are there quite a few plot holes? without a doubt. That being said I liked the series and I very much liked the Arsinoe, Billy and Mirabella trio. I don't want to spoil anything but there were some things that happened in this book that kind of ruined the entire series for me. I would still recommend the series but I think Blake made a couple of big mistakes in this book and it bums me out. A great idea for a series with some really good world building.

a very rare occasion when i wish the book was longer. the ending wrapped up everything so quickly, i’d like to read more about after-war navigation of the characters and the island in the new reality.

also the fact that we didn’t see arsinoe and billy being happy together???? disrespectful

generally, i liked it a lot more than the previous one (this series was just up and down for me). i’m somehow satisfied with how everything wrapped up, but not impressed or excited about the story. this is the time when the series is just fine, not great, but also not bad.

4.5 stars! A fantastic conclusion to this series! We finally get to know the fate of our favorite characters and honestly it’s been a long journey for me. I stopped reading this series after book 2 (for what reasons I don’t even know) and picked it up again years later! I’m glad I did though. The last 75 pages had my heart racing to get to the end
