What a beautiful ending. Not quite a happy ending, but not a sad one either. I’ll miss this series so much, and it will forever be a favorite.
Overall the book was okay but, I’m upset about Pietyr and Katharine. Like Pietyr didn’t really say anything to Katharine even when he knew she was somewhat back to normal. And the entire time it felt like he was on Arsinoe side, like he really gave up on Katharine that quickly. It would have been nice to see some sort of larger interaction before Katharine died.

This was fine? The whole series definitely could’ve been condensed into two books.

YA’s are a sort of guilty pleasure of mine. However, this series is stunning. From the lore to the powerful and dimensional characters, it’s easy to get immersed in this world of Fennbirn. The ending seemed well thought-out and I enjoyed the epilogue.
