My favorite so far - action, a bit of romance, but most importantly it finished well and tied up everything I wanted it to. A few shocking events had me like
The conclusion to Blake's thrilling series is one I didn't want to put down. Full review here: https://robyntocker.weebly.com/five-dark-fates.html
This series took me so long to finish, and the only reason I did was because I didn't know what other book I wanted to read.
I felt no connection with any of the characters and felt nothing when someone died. Something that bothered me since the first book is that they are all supposed to be 16-17years old. Them being 20-21years old would make so much more sense and make their actions just a little less unbelievable.

Deeply unsatisfying. The first book was the strongest of the series and is still my favorite. This series has always been uneven and I think it stems from book one selling as a standalone and the other books being sold on spec after the first did so well. You could almost see Blake scrambling to find ways to string out the plot.
A lot of the urgency and driving force of the plot fell to the wayside as we got near the end. The denouement left only the blandest (and let’s be real, my least favorite) characters standing.
The premise continues to be great but this finale did not stick the landing as it were. I will say this series made me a Kendare Blake fan and I’ll be all about whatever she writes next. But let’s just say I’m not sad to have read most of this series through the library instead of buying copies.

This final book wrapped up the series better than I had anticipated. I laughed, I cried (twice), and I screamed throughout the story! The character arcs came full circle and really tore my heart out. Even though romance isn’t the focus of the book I am always rooting for Billy and Arsinoe so without the bonus epilogue I would’ve been in limbo. Overall great series and I found this book very fast paced
