This one hurt.
Now, this may have to do with the fact that I finished it in the middle of the night, but I was crying like a baby at several parts.

The worst part about the final book in an all-consuming series is whether or not the ending will live up to be everything you’re hoping for. Unfortunately Five Dark Fates was not what I’d hoped for. I still absolutely love the world of Fennbirn, but in my opinion, not everyone got the fate they deserved.
I thought this was a fitting end to the series. It took a little to catch my attention. I really liked the volatile relationship between the sisters. I think they all grew throughout the series. The end did, however, leave some things unanswered that I was hoping would be. Overall though I really love this series and the world that Kendare Blake created.
I am struggling with my thoughts on this one a little bit because I struggled with reading it throughout the whole book. I like this series a lot, but I was pretty disappointed with this conclusion. I want to fully gather my thoughts and then I'll come back and write a full review. Or maybe I'll film a whole series review?
I enjoyed how the story ended. Be warned you may be rooting for the demise of some characters but may still be touched by their undoing. I do appreciate the bravery and commitment of some characters in this story. Going strong with these characters, getting attached will be enough to jerk a few tears in this book. I could not wish for a better ending, all things considered.
I really disliked the way this series ended but I have to give it props becuase it did leave me in a nasty book hangover
I finished this literally 5 minutes before I had to step into my class with 15x 1st graders… do not do that.
I was in distress.
