Okay. I give up. This book is ridiculous. I had to read the first section twice. I've plodded my way through the second part. I used the Wikipedia cliff notes. I'm still confused, and the plot is boring. How on earth this book is considered to be so good is beyond me. I'm doing no more of it. No more Faulkner.
