In all honesty, this isn't a book that I've fully read. I've read a couple of the beginning chapters, but find that I'm more perusing it for specific details that I want to improve with my running. The content is quite descriptive with numerous diagrams and photos of stretches / exercises that one can do to improve their strength, gait, and posture for running.
This book made me view running in a totally new light and was INCREDIBLY informative! The only issue I found was that occasionally the exercises and tests that Jay Dicharry includes may be hard to replicate by yourself. That could just be me though! Overall, I would absolutely recommend this book to ANY runner, recreational or competitive.
Good read, will incorporate these drills and skills into the regimen and see what happens

Continued to utilize the workouts in the book, but stopped reading the individual chapters. Hip injury kept me from fully committing to this book.
borrowed this from my physical therapist and it was super good! lots of stuff that resonated with me
I can't tell if everything shown in this book works, but the topics presented, the way it is written and lots of exercise images make it a good running-related book. I already incorporated some of the exercises into my daily routine and can tell that I see some progress ;)
I liked all of the technical aspects of the book, but as I am a beginner runner, I don’t feel like I would realistically complete all the exercises. I loved the emphasis on mobility, and the rationale made a lot of sense to me. I hope to go watch a video or two on YouTube by the author for clarity.
Came to this after a bout of over-training. Read through in two days. And re-read. A real eye-opener. One of the best books on running form I've encountered. Has so far saved me from further injuries. A must read for any runner.
