This was not my favorite David Sedaris book, with weird short fiction stories interspersed. I enjoy his own stories and how he reacts and writes about them. I missed that in this book.

Wow, somehow I missed the memo that Sedaris is an ableist, racist piece of work. Perhaps he’s evolved since writing this but I’m out. ✌️

not for me. the casual racism and classism and all-around crassness was quite unenjoyable.

I have whiplash from this mix of hilarious and horribly offensive essays.

I was smiling by page two, but a little bored by page 45. I really enjoyed the other collections of stories about Sedaris’s life, which this collection is not 100% about.

I love David Sedaris' stories. I love them even more when I get to hear him tell them.

Hilarious and quick read. Loved the "Sanataland Diaries." Retail at Christmas...I'm glad I'm not there anymore.

I love everything David Sedaris writes. Did I tell you I have tickets to see him next month? Because I DO!
