What a nice addition to the first book in this series. Personally I found that the bonding between Blake and Samantha was a bit more intense and special. This story contained more angst and (inter)action, but it was the revelation about Eric's dad in court that just made my day.

Words cannot express how much I loved this book. The first two in the series were stunning… but this one… this one just blew me away. I laughed, I cried and I totally got ragey at points! I think what I love about this book is that everything comes full circle from the start of the trilogy to this one. You get more answers and you get to see things from Samantha’s point of view. My heart broke for her. The pain that she had to endure on top of douchey inlaws. I had a bad taste in my mouth about them from the first story, but it just blows me away how this one played out. Then you have Blake. Oh my stars. Blake is the man everyone would want their daughters to date however his has ghosts in his past too. But these two together was an unexpected but stunningly beautiful story of finding love in such a tragic situation. I love watching Samantha’s character develop in this story. Especially with Blake at her side. These two together… absolutely stunning. Then you add the little girls. Oh how I loved them.
One thing I can say, is that this was an amazing conclusion to a mind blowing situation that no one expects them to be in. Seeing how this all comes to a head and watching how strong they come out in the end. How love finds a way regardless of what is thrown at you. I think Samantha and Blake’s story is my favorite though the other two books were mind blowing. There was just something about the spark and the magic in this one that kept me glued to my ereader, devouring each and every word that the author gave me. If you have not picked up this series, do so now. I cannot say enough about it. A brilliant read of the mending of two broken souls coming together in an unseemly situation and finding that spark that was lost within them together.

"What would you change if you could?"

I'D CHANGE THE FACT THAT I DISCOVERED THIS BOOK LATER THAN I SHOULD HAVE.

A little storytime: I actually meant to read the first book in this series. But then sleepy me hit play on this instead. I thought of putting this on hold to go with my original plan but somehow, my instict told me to carry on. And I am so glad I did!!!!!

The way this book gave me all the fuzzies. Sigh. I want what Samantha and Blake have. And I mean that individually and together. The way Samantha displayed her strength to fight for her family despite people constantly trying to tear her down. The way Blake remained beside Samantha and her girls, always holding their hands even through the toughest of times. The way they both found their healing in each other and how their love seemed so deep and genuine even though it developed in a relatively short amount of time. Their love was so pure it gave me a smile so big and teary eyes.

Now I know some might find a few parts of the story a little too dramatic. I personally found them a bit dramatic, but I gave them all a pass because this love story is too heartwarming and beautiful for me not to give this 5 stars.

I'm so so sooo happy I discovered this series! I need to go and read the first two books ASAP!!!!

4.5 stars.

I cried so much that I gave myself headache.

I loved Samantha. She was so strong and how she picked herself up after everything she went through was so amazing. I felt her pain and insecurity.
Our hero was such a nice person. He helped her when there was no one else with her. He and his family were so good to Sam and her girls and I loved them. I was afraid that he couldn't love her completely but he proved me wrong. And I couldn't be more happy.

( And I want Eric and his family to burn in hell.)

Blake left a big impression on me in both the first and second books in this series. I was a little iffy about how his love story with Samantha was gonna play out. Because well * spoiler * but it was very organic and I really enjoyed it.
Samantha is very strong and my heart hurt because of all that happened to her.
I was crying at work while listening to the audiobook.
I gotta say Connor Crais and Roy Rayland did a fantastic job. I mean Connor Crais' voice is

I received a copy of this book in exchange of an honest reveiw.

Well, what I can tell you certainly is that I enjoyed this book way better than the second one. But that said, and despite my initial excitment towards the whole idea of telling the story of how one person can influence several people, the series kinda got old by the time the last book came out. The books individually would/could have been huge success and phenomenal stories but with the insane amount of overlaps between them just made them a bit boring for me. The one reason why I don't reread books is because for the second time it's not as exciting anymore. This applies in this case as well. We see too much into the other books.

Anyway I enjoyed Blake and Samantha's story. I was the most interested in Sam side of things from the very beginning so it was great to finally see it. Not that I didn't know what the conclusion of the story is going to be since it's clear from the ending of Perfect love story, and also the inbetween parts were pretty preditable, but the overall atmosphere was really great. So yes I liked it.
Now for purely about the story, or more like about the characters. I really liked them even if I didn't agree with their choices all the time. They are not the kind of characters I prefer in my reads but they are perfect for this plot, they give something extra to the series.

Samantha's POV is really tense but emotionally reserved from the very beginning mainly thanks to her in-laws. I would have blown up way before she even started to reailez their faults. Anyway for some reason I expected her side of the story to be more emotional. And while she goes through a lot of things I don't really feel the emotions coming through the writing. That was a shame because it would have been awesome with a bit more UHMP.
I also felt that she blamed almost everything on her being an orphan, that was a bit strange for me.

Sam and Blake had a lot in common and they could help each other heal. This is one thing that probably propelled their relatonship ahead so fast and made things so effortless between them. The loss and grief created a bond between them. And while it was maybe a bit fast.paced romance wise I loved their interactions.

It's a beautiful story of starting over and healing. I enjoyed it quite a bit but my favprite in the series is always going to be the first book.
