For everyone wondering...
Yes, this book is exactly like the first one but told from Travis' point of view.
Regardless, I think if you loved the first one as much as I did, this book is still better the second time around and you get some questions answered that you probably asked in the first one.
I also think if you're going to read the other books about the maddox brothers, it will help to read Travis' point of view to get a better understanding of the other brothers!

When I found out that there would be a book from Travis' point of view I was ecstatic, and then I became impatient. Now that I have had the pleasure of finally reading Walking Disaster, I can say that it was well worth the wait .
Always, always love a male POV, it gives me feel the full swoon effect and gives me more of an insight of him.
Happy to learn the meaning behind Travis's nick name for Abby. I never much liked the Pigeon nick name, I guess it grew on me after a wile but I was still not in love with it, but now I understand it and can like it just a little more.
I didn't realize how alike Abby and Travis are, they were definitely a dysfunctional pair but for some reason they seem to fit. They bring out the best in each other, she tames his beast enough to make him function like a normal person, and he gives her that little bit of bad boy she seems drawn to, in small doses.
I've always wanted to know what happened after Abby's and Travis' eloping and Jamie did not disappoint. She not only showed how their friends and family reacted to their spur of the moment decision, but gave us one of the best and surprising epilogue I've ever read.

I really liked Travis in Beautiful Disaster, so when I learned that Walking Disaster was from his POV I was pretty excited. For the most part, the book lived up to expectations.
Because it had been a while since I'd read BD, I more or less read the two books concurrently this time around so that I could get the same story from both perspectives at the same time. As a result, however, I was faced with my one big disappointment -- a lot of the scenes are written exactly the same, with only the pronouns changed. Word for word thoughts (even using the same adjectives) come from both Abby and Travis' heads. Seems a bit lazy. I'd hoped that Travis' POV would offer a whole new head to get into -- sometimes it did, sometimes it didn't.
That said, the epilogue made my whole year. I loved it! I adore Travis. I'd love more from this world. How about a book about Trent (adore him!) and Cami, or Shep and America (though we got a big dose of them already)? Whatever, the characters are great. Gimme more!

Oh my! What can I say about Travis!?! If I didn't love him already, I sure do now.... Not that I didn't love him though! I was always rooting for him!
He about ripped my heart out with his love for Pigeon and her reluctance to love him back!
I thought for sure since I already knew the story from Beautiful Disaster, but what I got was a totally different look at the story from a heartbreaking and earth-shattering point of view!
There wasn't much I didn't like about this book.... I can say I was a little disappointed on details. We got a lot of details on big events before, but none here. I would have liked more on his thoughts at times like his fights and a little more on the fire scene! A lot of things just got skipped over and mentioned as an afterthought.
Now, the epilogue.... I am HOPING this means that we WILL be seeing some more of Travis and Pigeon soon! Jamie McGuire really left us panting and drooling with that ending! So, I am begging for more surrounding the epilogue! I really want to see how that turns out!

3.5 stars!
I really liked Travis's pov, just nice to 'see' the story from another pov.
And especially the epilogue was a really great BONUS <3
But at times, the story wasn't fluid enough for me and the way Travis falls in love with Abby is a little to fast and easy for my taste. I overall liked Abby's POV better and the way it was written in Beautiful Disaster. But still, it was a Really enjoyable Read!!

Huh...I have absolutely no idea why I read this, especially since the 1st book was such a disaster (pun intended). But as they say, curiosity is a sin, and apparently I suffer from occassional bouts of insanity.
And Travis' head is not a place I'd like to visit again....ever. Apart from being an alcoholic, a chain smoker and a stalker with temper issues and dangerous mood swings, the guy is freakin' crazy.
And don't even get me started on the pussy like behavior wherein he is constantly in tears about everything! I wouldn't even want to waste a rant on such a book...
Rating:- 0.5/5 stars!
