*4.5 stars, on my Enid Blyton scale... maybe because I don't think I've read this one, I quite enjoyed it, not knowing quite what was to come (though it was of course the usual treasure, caves, being trapped by baddies). Quite liked the setting, and I liked that unusually, in this one, Anne gets to bring out her 'tiger' (however damn patronising the boys were as usual!)
