Not sure why so many people hate this book. I did the audio and it was entertaining. Both narrators are unreliable- one is a bitter, antisocial woman with a chip on her shoulder and the other is a glossy influencer who’s into rocks and souls.
The former friends (now enemies) are both obsessed with a well and the tragic story behind it. It’s all written in journal entries, articles, social media posts, and some archival material.
Overall, a fun way to commute.
