An enjoyable mystery. This is the third book in the series and it is better from the earlier ones.

Duncan and Gemma drive back and forth between London and the Chilterns, where the murder they are investigating took place. Duncan is sent to handle the case quietly, because it involves a well-known married couple, an orchestra conductor and opera singer, and their adult daughter. Both Duncan and Gemma become personally involved with individuals who are suspects in the case. At the same time, the nature of their relationship with each other changes.

I love this series. I was surprised by the identity of the killer in this one. The plot was a little more complex than the previous two. I’m excited to start the fourth book.
