I couldn’t get past the fat-phobic treatment of Simone. Even the adults in the story make lots of negative comments about her weight, it’s like the only identifying aspect of her character. I stopped when her grown female teacher told her, “Fewer cakes, bit more sport, you’ll look better in no time.” She was literally telling her to lose weight for the sole purpose of looking better and getting others to like her. Not for me.

I am going through Jenny's backlog. This one was not my favorite I have to admit, it was just the way the teenage characters were written they were not the most likable and didn't suck me in like the others. Still a nice adventure to take.
