2,5 mi aspettavo molto di più dalla trama e sono rimasta delusa. Ho trovato il libro lento e il finale mi ha lasciato neutrale, come anche il twist verso la fine. Un libro scialbo

Highly recommended!
This is my first Paul Cleave book, so I do not know how to compare this book to his others, but I was hooked on this book from the first chapter. Trust No One is suspenseful and addictive. The concept and plot is one-of-a-kind. The only reason I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was a little predictable. However, Paul writes the book in a way that assuming you know what is going to happen, creates even more suspense.
I can't wait for this book to be published so I can recommend it to all my customers that love suspense thrillers!

When I first started this novel, I didn’t know what to expect. The synopsis sounded so intriguing that I was ecstatic when I found out this was February’s book for the Criminally Good Book Club over on Instagram (@criminallygoodbookclub).

Inside the novel we follow a man named Jerry Grey. He is a crime writer (how cool!) and a very good one at that. It goes back and forth between chapters of what is happening now in his life with Alzheimer’s and back when he first found out that it was coming. He had written in a journal (the Madness Journal) whenever he felt he needed to, so he could remind himself of the man he was in the past. Future Jerry isn’t going to be the same.

I have to be honest though, I was a little bored throughout most of the book. It wasn’t a book I thoroughly enjoyed and this review is going to be a little tough for me. It was lacking a lot for me through the beginning and the middle. The ending of the book was the most thrilling and still has me second guessing the whole entire book.

"write what you know and fake the rest" this will forever pop up in my head.
The Book is beyond fascinating. The writing style is something i Love. it talks about an author who wrote crime novels using a pen name and suffered early Alzheimers. The story line evolves around what he thinks he did, what he actually did, and who can he trust. Should he trust himself, or the writer in him, his wife, his daughter, his best friend or his nurse. its a spiral of events. the ending was very satisfying, because it felt realizstic, and not "the hero saved the day, everyone was back to normal, the bad dude was taken care of, and now they lived happily" because i hate that. disappointing in terms of, you wished a better ending for a certain character, but satisfyong because its closer to reality. TRUST.. TRUST.. i have always had issues, and this book just made it worse. It made it worse for all the good reasons, but it did. i am at lost for words to say. But i would definitely recommend this book over and over again. Never boring, always on edge, a page turner, and great plot twists. Get a copy and judge for yourself.

The only thing worse than an unreliable narrator is and ambivalent ending. Good story but left me wanting a more solid ending.

The first part of the book was slow, and at times it was hard to follow and distinguish between the present and the past, but then towards the middle, I found that I was very involved with the book.
