Liked the two character perspective and each ones history and current situation.

This book made me feel like the existence of hedge fund managers is kinda a bummer for us as a society. Could be bc I don’t have a hedge fund tho.

I love Elin Hilderbrand. I feel like I'm at the beach when I read her novels, which is my favorite place. Very fast read, I read this in days & predictable- I pretty much saw everything coming. But that's okay with me b/c I just want to imagine myself at the beach reading a beach novel. Perfect December read :)
fast-paced

Perfect summer read by Elin Hildebrand. Certainly not deep by any stretch of the imagination...but a quick light read.

Good up until the end where I feel like everything was mashed together to make a "happy ending". Sometimes you don't need a happy ending, just a good one.

One of the best Elin books I’ve read thus far! Really enjoyed this one.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed listening to this as an audiobook. Yes, there were cliches, annoying assumptions, and a bit of redundancy, but at the heart of the novel was a tender, authentic, and hard-fought struggle for self-acceptance, forgiveness, and reconciliation. The voices of the two narrators on the CD also added a nice, dramatic flair.
