first half didn’t have me too hooked but wow did it by the end. also, what i don’t love- i don’t understand. too much goes over my head, i need to study this.

Better and more enjoyable on the second read. Skip the Ironborn.
Second half was fine, but the first half was nearly at a "hot mess" level of disorganization.

If “A Storm of Swords” was the epic climax, “A Feast for Crows” is the natural consequence that one must expect.
But the fallout is as important as the explosion that comes before it!
I lived for every Brienne and Jaime chapter. They were a great study of knighthood and chivalry. And it would seem that Jaime’s wits sharpened after he lost his hand. His inner thoughts were hilarious but the comments made me laugh.
The only thing that was funnier than Jamie’s japes were Cersei’s thoughts. HE’S IN THE WALLS!!! HE’S IN THE GODDAMNED WALLS!!!
To see her spiral into insanity and praise herself with every breath as she double crosses herself and doesn’t even realise it is just poetic. The way she becomes an alcoholic while hating how much Robert drank is ironic. She becomes the thing she hated.
Podrick is very important to me. Every time he went: “Sir? My Lady?” — my heart melted more.
Littlefinger is creepy but Sansa is starting to understand the game!
It would be improper to mention the beautiful writing and descriptions as well. It was a pleasure to read. 10/10⭐️

Such a good introspective piece. The calm after a storm. Some of the strongest character developments in the series. George is a genius
