I just love how WOT keeps me on my toes. Always, I think we are heading somewhere and then something very unexpected happens suddenly and I am unable to put the book down. The details are excellent- a small detail could mean something important in the next book. I love how much there is to this world. I was disappointed not to read a single page in this whole book from Perrin’s perspective. Hoping a lot from him in the next one!

4.5.
Solid book. My favourite is still book 4 and I didn’t love some of the choices in this book. I’m still really intrigued by how it goes.

Ok, so where I was over the moon about book 4. Book 5 was a bit of a down grade. The pacing dies in the start of this book and it takes a while for this to kick into high gear. It takes about half the book to get to any part that actually made me sit up and interestesd. Look, the circus. We all know it. If you don't. Don't worry no spoilers. But that part was just awful. Its boring. I'm sorry but the first chunk of this book for me was a dull drag. But Robert Jordan always saves the excitement for the end of the books. The latter end half of this book is crazy exciting and great. So it has a fantastic finale and a dry 1st half.
