This book was delightfully disturbing. Sibil gives Harley Quinn vibes but more unhinged. Quick read but such a wtf roller coaster. Chock full of triggers so proceed with caution.

I wish this book went more into detail about HOW Sibby killed get father and escaped the cult, we never get a complete story about her past which frustrated me.

Trigger warnings ⚠️ 🩸 play 🔪 Murder And a few others. So read the trigger warnings I loved Haunting and Hunting Adeline. I love Sibby's character in the book and was curious about her. I am glad she has her own book. Let's just say she had a messed up childhood growing up. It was sad.

A small spinoff of her cat and mouse duet that reads just the same.  It has pieces that are interesting or decent, but the overall writing and story is lacking.  This is another title I would suggest if you're looking for very specific erotica or are a fan of the author.

I read Haunting Adeline first because I didn’t know this book existed. With that being said, this was a short backstory for a character I actually grew to love in the duet. The first chunk of this is torture porn, pretty literally. I skimmed through the gore and most of everything except Sibby’s backstory and the very end. I’m not sure if reading this before the duet would be better or worse, but I am glad to at least have some insight into her character.
