I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I had heard of it mentioned in true crime before, but went into the book knowing nothing and I’m so glad I did. It was a gripping story and truly well written.

I loved that my preconceived notions were challenged several times throughout the story. I am tempted to read again with what I know now.
medium-paced

absolutely amazing book. fuck men but she is also 2 crazy.

The first part of the book was really difficult to get through at times, the misogyny was off the charts and I kept waiting for a twist or a change which thankfully happened. Did not see that twist coming, and at that point the book was veryyy binge-able. I read the majority of the book in just a couple days. The ending, however - very anticlimactic and dissatisfying. My expectations for the book in general, based on how it was recommended, was that it would be more of a thriller, not just a mystery. That might have made the first part of the book more difficult for me to get through as well, because I was waiting and waiting for the thrill. The middle part was definitely the best and most suspenseful part and the reason for my 4 star rating
