King said this was his favourite thing he wrote, and honestly I can't see WHY.

His writing literally feels like something written just to be written, and he said it himself, he forces himself to write 4 pages a day, and thats not how good writing is done.

Of all his short stories, I think this one is going to haunt me the most. Very well written - you can tell that the man's grasp on sanity/reality is slipping through his journal entries. The means that he takes to try to survive after the boat accident...chills.
