The amount of continuing connections in this book is delightful. I can't wait to see where the rest of the world goes. I can't wait to read the next one!

I enjoyed this one more than I expected. Going into it I knew it was an interim book, bridging the gap between this series and the start of the next. I liked catching up with all the couples, and while a few parts were longer than necessary I wanted to hear how and what everyone was doing. Oh and of course the pup-cubs!! <3

A good intro into the next era of this series, while catching us up on previous characters, introducing some new people, and just generally tugging on heart strings.

This is just a good hearted feels book. There's not a lot of movement in the greater storyline, but this book is a chance for touching base with all of our favorite characters. It seems this story is really just to confirm and solidify all the bonds between our favorites. I really enjoyed reading this even though there were so many characters sometimes it's hard to remember who everyone is. Still, this was just a sweet book and the pupcubs are now in this world. ;) Love Naya and her parents so much too!

This was a great catch up in the lives of all the characters as we get ready to heard into the next overall arc of the series.

2nd read: I feel much more magnanimous about this the second time around. Part of it absolutely as to do with saving it for last, since this is the big Happily Ever After for so many of our favorite couples, with little nods to all those who feature in the "second season" of the series after this (as described by Nalini Singh herself). Seeing everybody truly come together and being able to almost see the big web that connects them all together is simply magical. Plus, while I still would have liked to see the "Big Plot" given a proper finale, this still did something huge by showcasing a huge part of the problem for why the Honeycomb hasn't completely fixed everything, and set the groundwork for what has to happen next to ensure their survival. I'm so beyond excited for the next book in the series, and so glad I did this huge read-through!

1st read: Surprise, I loved it. Not my favorite being an ensemble book that didn't wrap up The Big Plot but it was still so swell to see everybody. Missed you guys. Augh.

So like...not a lot happened in this book? But I enjoyed spending time with all of these characters nonetheless.

This is how Tangle of Need should've been written. I'm still very salty for Riaz and Adria. I don't understand why they couldn't have gotten their own novela.

This did a really good job to balance out characters without overshadowing, and still having a workable plot, and still giving fan service.

This didn't quite feel like they passed the baton, but I still love that it was the tying of loose ends (even though I never read the novellas, I was still able to follow along).

It was rather enjoyable.

If you have not been following the psy-changeling series, this book is not for you! Instead, you want to start all the way at the beginning with Slave to Sensation. I wish I was you - able to experience reading this series for the first time again.

I personally, like ensemble books, so I have no problem with this one. If you, personally, do not like ensemble books, then you might not like it much.

I always want more at the end of a book, so I’m happy to see more. I do wish this has a little less focus on Lucas and Sascha and more equally on some of the other characters, but I also get it. They started the series, so what’s a way to make it full-circle but to end part one with the spotlight on them?

Anyway, off to continue my thousandth reread of this series!

What a touching and heartfelt end to this series.
Not everything is resolved which gives what is resolved more meaning and depth.
