I am a sucker for the little novellas in between series and this was everything. I am obsessed with Lillith and Vale. I desperately need more of them. This teensy tiny book was not enough. If this would have been a 500 page book, just describing this story but a little more elaborate, I would have still enjoyed it the same way as I did now. Perhaps even more. I simply need more.

Six Scorched Roses
A short but satisfying read with a well-paced story that kept me engaged from start to finish. It didn’t blow me away, but it was solid emotional in the right places, with just enough tension and intrigue to make it memorable. The intimate scenes were tasteful and well-written, adding to the story without overshadowing it.
It may not be life-changing, but it’s definitely worth reading and it’s more than enough to make me want to continue the series.

I felt like this Novella didn’t give me enough information to form a strong connection with the characters. I felt like the story line could have been fleshed out more and the love story was rushed. I am keen to see where the story between Lilith and Vale goes from Book 2!
