This book starts really slow, it made me question if I should put it on DNF and move on. But I was curious. After the introduction to the related characters, I was curious how will things come together in the end. I was intrigued as to what will lead this story to its climax. And I was not disappointed.
See, the way things start so slow, it has its reasons. The story builds, layer by layer, to the point you are unable to stop reading. It builds to the point you just have to keep going to know where it will lead. You will be absorbed with the characters, with the plot. And the end is *chef's kiss*. It builds to a crescendo and ends with such force you're gonna be questioning if it was all worth it.
It's twisted. And dark. And not entirely unexpected. But will still surprise you.
