The ending of this book was everything I could have asked for!! I really like that the book was in Charlotte’s perspective; it just made Jamie’s point of view at the end. Though I did miss him a little through out the story. The plot in this book wasn’t my favorite and I think it went kind of fast. The mystery was interesting but I felt like it could have used more detail because I was a little let down when it was figured out. Charlotte and Jamie’s relationship in this book was so adorable and amazing. Their banter was incredible. Also that major reveal!!! I thought it was going to be more important for the story but I liked how it was dealt with. I am so sad that this series is over. I would love another book about their lives together! I can’t be satisfied but if it must be over, this book was the perfect send off!

nooooooooo, it's overr.
Loved this series so much. Loved the characters. Loved this book. Loved all the books. Loved Charlotte. Loved Jamie. Loved the ending (kind of). Felt like this book followed the pattern of something written by Arthur Conan Doyle- just a random observation. Anyways thank you Brittany Cavillaro for writing this book. I love you very much <3

this book was so cute and slay it makes me sick i read the rest of the series months ago but was able to pick this up and remember how much i love the romance and the banter between the main characters. the mystery was good but not what i was here for and i liked that there were some loose ends tied up. would love another book thats just fluff and the lives of the two after this book but it was a good ending either way. would definitely recommend this series it’s actually so cute and also interesting

3.5? 4? I don't know if I liked it that much, I know it's the last one in the serie, so I thought it would end with an epic note, so I'm quite disappointed??? Idk, I think the very end is a a good conclusion but overall the book didn't feel like a finale

Well, this is my first time writing a review. So, bear with me please ..
This may contain spoilers for the ones who don’t want them ..

This is my favorite book of the series ..

But ..

I didn’t like the ending, it was painful.
I understand that it maybe the perfect ending -for now- concerning their romantic relationship. But I don’t like it ..

We were inside Watson’s head for three books and he’s always hurting. No matter what he or Holmes do, he’s always the one mostly wronged. And Holmes was not helping at all. She always cares about his physical health but not mental or emotional health.

The previous books blots were kind of jumbled and messy and lacking because they were Watson’s POV.
This one’s blot is firm, connected and understandable. We were living Holmes’ process, thoughts and how she thinks. This book made us understand her more.
That’s what made it the best one.

In every Sherlock Holmes story, movie or series, we were the Watsons. We see the magic tricks and then we back track to how they’re done. This book allowed us to live the process of how a Holmes think.
Thank you for that

This series did not need to be as long as it did; in fact, I don’t know that it needed to be a series at all. I like Jamie and Charlotte, but the list kinda ends there. This particular story had potential, but the secondary characters never felt fully fleshed out, despite being crucial to the mystery, and the ending was lackluster.

*4.5 stars*

This was honestly almost everything I could have hoped for in the conclusion to this series. This was a full five stars for me until near the end, when the plot took a couple weird turns, but overall I enjoyed every second of reading this and, like. MY HEART, y’all.
