This book was a struggle for me. One of those which has so much potential but just missed out on achieving it. I didn't feel the connection between the characters and I wasn't invested in their relationship. I forced myself to keep reading because I liked the secondary characters and was looking forward to their stories. That being said I'm not yet sure if it's the characters in this book I didn't like or just the writing from this author overall. It was all very... Overt. There was nothing subtle, everything was spelled out and that takes away some of the interest and excitement for me. There was too much sex and no connection. They were suddenly in love but I didn't feel like they went past lust. Overall it was relatively disappointing and the two main characters annoyed me a fair bit, especially Maddie. I'll read on in the series because I want to give the author a chance, we'll see.

OK.... this is not a enjoyable read. I thought its going to be funny, light and flirty. But I got boring, cold and lack of depth. The terms for woman body part is... not alluring. It turns my sense cold. I can not relate to both of main characters. They are very 1 dimensional. The insta love is un realistic.

I really enjoyed the beginning of this book and then honestly a little over half way I got bored. I skimmed the last 20ish pages. I have the other 2 books in this series and they’re not high on my list to read. I’ve had this book for a couple years and have started it and stopped reading it a couple times.
