Although I did enjoy the book, I did not enjoy the second epilogue. It wasn't really a tale of their lives after, which is what all the rest are. It's literally just Hyacinth looking for the jewels, which they've been doing the whole book. I would've enjoyed reading about their kids (which we get a little, but not much) or reading more about Lady Danbury, but no, we get Isabella finding the jewels, filler pages, Hyacinth searching for the jewels, filler pages, Isabella hiding the jewels, filler pages, and Hyacinth finding them (exactly like Isabella did). Quite dumb in my opinion and a waste of energy to write.

This was a good conclusion to this book! I think that Isabella is a great daughter.
I was so happy to figure out if the if Hyacinth and Gareth ever found the diamonds! And I reveled in the the mother/daughter relationship between Hyacinth and Isabella.

It was amazing to see all the characters of this book again. To see that the love and connection has only grown stronger over years of marriage was heartwarming! Loved the conclusion of the diamond mystery and was left feeling such warmth and love after this!
this 2nd epilogue was truly beautiful. how her daughter knew what was right and what would make her mother happy. i cried when hyacinth called for gareth to tell him she did it.
