I know some people think of James Patterson as a “crank ‘em out, low quality”. But I do like the WMC series. And although I felt the homeless Murders story thread got short shrift - abruptly finished with no real explanation for the motive - the main story about a man claiming to have been tied up and raped at gunpoint by his female boss, was thought provoking. All in all, an enjoyable read in the series.

Just as good as the rest

My favorite series. This one did not disappoint. Always a twist and surprises. Can’t wait for the 18th to come out!

similar to book 16. spends too much time in the courtroom instead of with lindsay on the beat. its a yawn fest

Pretty typical Patterson & Paetro fare. I just wish Maxine Paetro would get a little more credit and recognition for her contribution.

2.5 Quite a meh story. I just think this series is getting too long and needs to wrap up soon but I doubt that happening.
