A big fan of the series and the 17th Suspect didn't disappoint. Two major plots in book 17:
Lindsay and Conklin solving murder case on homeless people, while Yuki represents a male rape victim. There are many main character development in this installment. The book was fun, fast, and kept me interested all the way to the end.

This one was better than the last few Boxer books. It still left a few cliffhangers but at least finished off the central mysteries. Looking forward to the next one.

Way back in book six of this series the authors behind James Paterson Inc had an agenda against mental health and wrote a terrible book that as very negative towards people suffering with issues related to it, this one has an agenda of its own, and it is against men facing sexual abuse.
A terribly written book, with more focus on soap, suds and winning and losing than on the real victims of crime, there could have been a great story here, but Patterson Inc goes for stupid unrealistic twists in the plot instead of writing a straightforward decent story that can be of benefit in a significant issue in todays society.

I read this book in a day, just like i did all the other Woman’s Murder Club books. I can never pace myself when I’m reading his books.
I have to say, i am impressed with yet another amazing book.. I love that he has kept this series going for so long.
If you haven’t read this series, you’re totally missing out. You have to have Lindsay, Claire, Yuki, and Cindy in your life.

I don’t know if it’s because I took a break between reading the 16th Seduction and the 17th Suspect but it’s proving to be better than the former book. I’m also surprised by this because I usually DISLIKE the court cases and only care about the crimes, but this time was different. I found myself more interested in the trial! I also find it highly unbelievable too that a detective would be so worried about cases not in her jurisdiction. I wanted to shout, “So y’all don’t have any cases in your own jurisdiction to solve, like none???” Overall, good plot but ending was dull.

It’s the 17th book in the series - at this point, I know what to expect. Too much personal stuff in this one. I seriously don’t care that Yuki and her husband both work too much and don’t have sex. The main cases were kind of meh. But I haven’t read anything in weeks and it was a quick read so yay.
