DID NOT FINISH: 25%

Couldn’t get into the story. While I have visited Paris and wanted to reminisce while reading I couldn’t get into the main character story to care. I was listening and kept zoning out, having to go back  and relisten. After a while it wasn’t worth it to keep going, and would rather spend valuable time on another book.

I loved the food and art references and the detailed prose it ignited imagination and my high school French! A bit overworked to fit in all the coincidences but still a good read

3.5* rounded up
If you love food and Paris - you'll enjoy this book. And a great opportunity to "refresh" you french throughout the book.

Fine book, I didn’t really get into it. I wanted to know more about Stella but I feel like it got lost in the focus being more about her past experiences or her current experiences.
