What a bizarre book. Dean Koontz knows how to write a story. Would recommend.

So so good!! Golden retriever Kipp is wonderful. This book had so much of the feel of Watchers. I hope Koontz continues this story line.

This book was crazy, true Koontz style. We start with Megan and her high functioning autistic son Woody. Woody has never spoken a word to anyone but they live their perfect life in routine and things are finally looking up since his dad Jason’s death.

Kipp is a special dog who lives with Dorothy, she’s outlived her Husband and Son and she is at the end of her day. Kipp knows and doesn’t leave her side until she passes.

Some bad people want to hurt them, Kipp sense’s Woody’s pain and instructs Ben to drive 80 miles to save him and Megan. I never thought I’d say this but the dog’s save the day.

In one part in my head I said what the hell am I reading then next minute I’m flicking page by page to get to the end! Strangely wonderful.

There are bad guys and good guys, but most importantly a dog obviously loved by Dean Koontz. Phenomenal book.
