mentally ill women and their cats; a story
this was so wholesome and such a cute, light & easy read. a story about different women and their cats that somehow still managed to connect to eachother and flow. mid reading, my cat jumped on my arm and started licking me & it makes me wonder what he’s thinking about

series of loosely connected shorts narrated by cats and their people, in which the women are struggling with loneliness, direction, guilt and grief, while the cats are occupied with exploring their territories, watching their people, and taking comfort with them. The women find the cats soothe their emotions.
There are also conversations between a philosophical dog and the cats that alternate between amusing and serious, and lend an already charming story some extra colour and depth.

A charming book with interconnected stories all linked by the cats in each tale. I really enjoyed Jon the dog and Mimi and Cookie. The humans too were all good characters overcoming their personal demons. I liked how the story ended.
