It's a 4 for the story. I still hate Dickens' prose. I get that he was paid by the word, but every single book of his feels the need to remind me of that constantly.

A wonderful timeless story showing us that it is never to late to see the error of our ways and change for the better. May we all have a Merry Christmas (or whatever winter holiday you observe) and move forward always endeavoring to better ourselves to the benefit of mankind.

This is a classic that I can read very easily. Ofcourse I already know the story, but it is also written in a good way. Yes, it is very descriptive, but there are no difficult/old words that throw me off.
And ofcourse I just love this Christmas story, so it was great to read this at Christmas time!
