It's notboften Is see novels written in verse but it was a nice read. Let ypucreally get into sunhectiviry and feelings and the sebse of time passing quickly like water through the fingers
I liked the concept of vampires being reborn as a new person with only echoes of previous lives, it hives interesting wordbuilding elements. I like the themes of love and loneliness and being lost and desperation to fill a gnawing hole in the chest

I’ve been in such a vampire mood for the last year! Baby Teeth by Meg Grehan was a soft, lyrical, and also angst-ridden read about Immy, a vampire, on her way to existing and also falling in love with a human. Immy’s voice was the strongest part of this novel in verse

This was my first novel in verse I had ever read. I enjoy poetry and I loved this vampire sapphic love story. Grehan does an excellent job using only what's necessary in every stanza, including repetition.
I don't think this book hit me the way it did other people, but that's okay! It was a quick novel in verse about a sapphic vampire that explored the theme of desire, and the vibes were there. But it didn't offer much for me.

I am such a sucker for a novel in verse and this was excellent. It felt like such an intimate look into a relationship and portrayed a strong but imperfect couple beautifully. It took me a minute to get into the writing style, because even for a novel in verse, it felt rather abstract. However, once I did and as the story progressed through the main relationship, I found the story compelling and the usage of the form, particularly usage of repetition, really well done. The only thing I would have preferred would be more scenes with the family. Henry was interesting and I wanted to know more about him as the apparent head of their little family. Overall, it was a good, quick read and I'd be interested to read more of Grehan's books.

While I found myself a little lost and confused for much of the story (which I'm realizing was probably very intentional), I can't reccomend this enough. A quick enough read while still evoking such real emotions from my poor sapphic heart.
