A good pick for a quick and easy vacation read. I didn't quite enjoy it as much as Something Borrowed because I found Darcy's personality a little grating until about half way through the book. An entertaining read non the less.
Sometimes, the sequels to my favorite books don't live up to the original. This one did. It was fun to see the drama of Darcy and Rachel's life, from the other side and then follow through to the next stage in Darcy's life.
I didn't expect to, but I actually liked this one a little better than "Something Borrowed," even though it's from Darcy's perspective. Too cute!

This is the follow up novel to Something Borrowed. The story of the "wronged woman" as she recovers from being left at the altar when her best friend takes off with her groom-to-be. It explores her journey through her privileged and self-centred life. The book is funny and very good.
I enjoy already an "adult but still need growing up" stories Like the first one, I really enjoyed this book. Darcy still got on my nerves but I liked her change. The relationship between her and doctor was meh and of course it'll the best guy friend that she never considered before. So yes, there were a few unexpected and expected events. I say give it a chance if you're looking a for a light read that will keep your attention.
I enjoyed this book a lot more than Something Borrowed. I felt like I was one of the few readers who disliked not only Darcy in Something Borrowed, but Rachel as well. But Giffin has an undeniable talent for scripting a story chalk full of characters who are incredibly human and more importantly -- realistic. The same can be said for her work in Something Blue, as we watch the once selfish Darcy mature into a somewhat decent human being. It's a quick read and has all the similar quirks readers of Something Borrowed have come to expect.
I absolutely loved this book! At first I was not looking forward to reading an entire novel from Darcy's perspective as I didn't care for her in the first book. However, she wore me down like she did other people in the book so I read it anyway. By about halfway through I really started to enjoy her and appreciated how she blossomed as the story went on!
This one was not as good as Something Borrowed in my opinion but it was cute nonetheless! It was still completely worthy of my reading time and I am glad that I did read it. If you read Something Borrowed beforehand you will most likely despise Darcy in the beginning of Something Blue but prepare to change your mind!
