This is a GREAT sequel to "Something Borrowed" that tells the story from the perspective of the snob from the first book. It makes you realize that sometimes it's hard to pick the good girl/heroine.
Read this on my honeymoon. Fun, easy, book about finding out about who you really are.
Not a lot of interesting character development or plot, but this is a very relaxing and quick read. Great for beaches and holidays!

The characters are too much and someone living in a fat body listening to a character described as a 5’9 120 lb girl call herself fat was just not doable for me.
I'm not ashamed to say that I enjoy a good chick lit every once in a while. This one actually had a lot of depth to it with fascinating characters whom you hate one minute and are cheering for the next!
I have to admit I wasn't sure about reading a book from Darcy's perspective. After reading Something Borrowed and watching the movie, Darcy was not my favorite character. I had to put the book down several times because I couldn't take how swallow she is for most of the book.
SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!!
Although I'm glad that Darcy eventually turns her life around, it took more than half of the book for her to get there. While I know that Rachel did the unthinkable, Darcy seemed to blame her even after she had "forgiven" her. It was really hard for me to feel bad for her when she admitted that even before Marcus she had "sort of" cheated on Dex. It was hard for me to swallow her betrayal of "martyr". In the end Giffin did an excellent job telling Darcy's story. Unfortunately Darcy was a character I could not love. I was still intrigued with Rachel and Dex, and wanted to know more about their life together. I also felt bad that Ethan had to be the guy to help Darcy find redemption. For me he deserved someone better.... I was also upset that the friendship between Ethan and Rachel seemed to fizzle out as well and Darcy was because of that.
Still a well written book.
