This series is so much fun, I can't imagine what I will do when it finally comes to an end. Hopefully that won't be for some years to come. I suppose I will, at that time, just read the whole thing all over again.

It's that good!!

Loved it. Can't wait for the next one.

Update: still one of my favorite series. One you can actually laugh out loud to.

Charley, Cookie, and Reyes are back! This smart and sassy series doesn’t disappoint with its fifth book. As with all Charley books the suspenseful storyline is filled with humorous hi-jinx and a lot of sexual tension. The star of the show is Charley, but her supporting characters make the story more enjoyable overall.

With a serial killer on the loose, Charley is trying to prevent him from killing again, especially when her sister appears to be his next target. With the ongoing arsonist case, Charley is staying busy. This hilarious tale will have you in stitches and trying to solve the “who dun it” throughout the book.

Like all Charley books we’re chomping at the bit for the next installment.

Probably my least favorite of the series so far. But that only means I like it a little instead of liking it a lot.

I love Charley and Reyes more with each book I read, well listen to. The narrator of this story is great!

I wish I had given this series a chance sooner, but then I'm glad I didn't because now I don't have to wait so long before I can start the next one. At least until I fly through to the most current book, then I am going to feel so lost and I'm a little worried about that. Basically, what everyone has said about this series is true.

Charley is at it again, but this time there are dead blonde girls and women showing up in her apartment traumatized out of their minds. They won't communicate with Charley so she isn't sure how to help them. But they need help desperately. Their descriptions are quite horrifying and creepy, which I really love. It balances out Charley's need to be sarcastic and snarky.

Of course, she and Reyes are still an interesting item. So many different things happen in this one, and I don't want to give too much away in case anyone else is wanting to read it. There were a lot of questions answered, but it really only made room for even more questions. It changes the whole course of the books and I like that there is an ever reaching arch over the entire series. I like stories with large plots, and smaller plot woven in, which only fuels my series addiction.

I really liked the ending and I can't wait to start the next one.
