I enjoyed this one more than I thought I would! The characters are so diverse and well rounded. Every page draws you in to a mystical, cursed world. The artwork is enchanting. This is a series to watch.

Nice art and overall concept, but the paneling and dialogue are nonsensical. I’m still not even really sure what the story was about after finishing it.

I'm not familiar with this fairy tale, so I enjoyed this one! I loved our saucy main character, the diversity of the characters, and well...most of the characters, actually. The bull was very one note, but I bet we'll hear more from him in the next volume. There's also a bit of ignoring instructions at the end which felt like a very transparent plot device to get a character into a specific situation. Moreover, I really wish the entire story had been told in one volume - there was some time-wasting retreading previously covered ground on various parts of the journey. Overall, though, I liked it! 3 stars.

The art is lovely, but the pacing is a slog. I wanted to like it more than I actually did.

I want more of this. The art was great! The storyline so far was interesting and purposefully vague enough by the characters non-answers that I definitely want more.
