I really enjoyed this. I don't normally read self-help, but this one I want to buy an actual copy of. I can't wait to listen to the rest of them. I highly recommend listening, because nothing is better than a Scotsman telling you that your thinking is shite.
Unlike what the title suggests, there really isn’t a lot of cursing throughout the book. Instead, the book is written in a conversational style, with excellent questions and points made to get you to re-examine your lifestyle. It’s put a lot of things in perspective for me, in my own life, and is definitely something I would recommend.
This book has been on my wishlist for a few years now because I was cautious about the title. With that being said, I very much enjoyed this book. Bishop does a great job talking about getting out of your own way and making your dreams into a reality. It is a little jarring to have him quoting Greek philosophers one second and then immediately jumping to his "colorful" humor, but I think that is what makes this book unique. There is a lot of good information, and it is fun to hear the book read in his Scottish accent. Highly recommend.

The author really think he did something here, but nothing about this book is “revolutionary”. If you have problems, go fix it
about what I expected from a book of this title: shallow advice for the average finance gym bro, which is better than nothing for some people I guess. Occasionally has a legitimate CBT based recommendation, but any nuggets get bastardized by the underlying message of hating and fearing yourself into change. Not worth your time if you’re of any marginalized community or have any “excuses” that hold you back (disability, finances, etc.) bc you’ll just be told to stfu and change your life anyway and if that limited perspective of life offends you then you’re not serious about change apparently.

Life changing - for some reason it just made sense to me. Highly recommend listening as his Scottish accent is easy on the ears!
