I liked that the book was delivered with a bruntness. I don’t like when self help books compare your situation with celebrities because if we’re being honest, we don’t know the kind of support they had to make the sacrifices that it took to succeed

Not bad for an inspirational book. The message is good -- get out of your head, learn to be relentless, and go for what you want -- but, like most books of this type, it's very repetitive and most of the information isn't revolutionary. Even still, it wasn't a bad read and if you need something to jump start your brain into getting things done, this book is a place to start, for sure.
I listened to the audiobook and loved it. It was practical advice and straightforward. Its definitely worth a read.

If you don’t mind tough love, this book is perfect to motivate you. The cynical approach does motivate me in ways I cannot describe, definitely a non-conventional self-help book.
nice quick read, did enjoy the non fluffy approach of this one and had some really good advice. I just felt like something was missing, maybe some little exercises to integrate the learning,
I don’t know which came first, but this book is the “cliff notes” version of The Subtle Art of Not Giving A Fu*k. I read the aforementioned directly before reading this book and it literally copies everything from the topics covered, to the order. Only in more simplified forms.
I’m not knocking the book, though. If you’re big on quotables and journaling topics, you will love this.
But if you’re already read Subtle Art... save your money.

This book was like having a friend or someone who cares for me, talk some sense into me. Just honest, straightforward advice. What's inside is definitely helpful for building character, get some shit done and stop fantasizing about your expected life. It also cuts your excuses and the pattern of constantly looking for motivation in order to do something.
Some of the ideas are simple but have a powerful impact. Of course the concepts are not new by any means, these are common knowledge for thousands of years, but is sure as hell you need the right voice to make you listen. Each needs to hear and feel the message in a certain way, so this book does exactly that: delivers a message in it's own style.
A good book to read if you are not into the 'american' style of personal development. This is more down to earth and similar to what you would hear on everyday life from someone who really cares about you, or maybe it's something you tell yourself many times. It can even be the voice of reason.
Definitely worth reading from my perspective.

This was not a life-changing read. I knew everything it shared but sometimes it’s helpful to hear those things again. Overall, I didn’t love it and I found it rather repetitive.
