I read it faster then I expected, it never got boring or too slow. The only thing that I didn't like is that the writer sometimes wrote what these men felt or thought at certain moments, but with all the letters and documents I think he couldn't have known what was going through their heads.
The previously untold stories of the MFAA and its contribution to saving the cultural history of Europe held my interest from beginning to end. Incredible accomplishments achieved in the face of so many seemingly insurmountable odds are truly inspiring in today’s world of on demand service economy.
I loved this book. I can see how many people would not like this book. It is not a high action, comedy or a love story. It is a simple chronology of the lives of men and women who used their expertise in art throughout the Second World War to save the history of all people involved.

Some of the repetitive phrases were incredibly distracting (to me), but I thought the rest of the book was interesting.
Interesting topic....was disjointed in the way the information was delivered.
