I absolutely loved A Million Kisses in your Lifetime. It sent me down a huge rabbit hole that was Monica Murphy. Idk what it is about this most recent series that just isn't clicking with me.

Don't get me wrong, the storyline is good and I still enjoyed this book but I just feel like it needed more. Cam was SO infuriating. I understand that's the point but UGH I wanted to throttle him. The one thing I wished was that there was more of a connection between the characters. What I mean is more than "Wow, he's the hottest guy I've seen" and "Wow, she's the hottest girl, sorry woman, I have ever seen!" AND THE ROOMMATES. Oh my. I wanted there to be more there. I felt so bad for this girl. She had no friends.

OKAY! Enough bashing.
As much as Cam irritated me at times, I appreciated the acknowledgment that he was struggling. He realized that he needed help and got it. So many books have the MMC deal with things. Normalizing therapy is something that I really enjoy seeing in books. Also, the confidence in the FMC to realize her worth?! AMAZING! She was not fudging around with her own feelings this time! Knox goes to say earlier in the book how much of a mess she was after almost all of her relationships, but, I guess, I find it hard to see after reading how she dealt with Cam?? Oh well.

I gave this book 3/5 stars because I didn't dislike it but I also didn't love it. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone that loves Monica Murphy! I'm just a reader, not an expert. Take my words with a grain of salt lol.

if there's one thing monica murphy does well its sports romances.
i liked exploring blair and camden's story <3 they've really become one of my fave couples from her books.

it's a very easy read and easy to get into and the smut?? come on you know monica kills it.

it's best friends/teammates sister and i love that trope!!

I was obsessed with this book up until the third portion of the book. Blair and Cam were so funny, I loved seeing their banter. Many of the scenes were so interesting and kept me wanting to read.

And then towards the end Blair and Cam fell off for me. It started to contain things I hate in a book. Too much sex and a character losing themselves for another character. Both those things and Cam doing too much made the book flop.

But I cannot wait for Ruby’s book, she is so funny and I know I am going to love her.

a fun way to pass the time
