Overall this was a fantastic and hilarious series and I would recommend it all in a heartbeat.

Personally I felt that the comedy and any semblance of plot lost steam towards the end; I think I would have been fairly happy if the series ended after book 3. I still however enjoyed the later books and was not at all disappointed to experience more of Douglas Adams's sense of humour.

Great series, great funnies. 4 star rating for the series as a whole.

And now it’s over! I know there’s another book written after this by someone else but I gotta say it wasn’t the plot that i necessarily loved, it was Douglas Adam’s jokes/ writing style. While this book didn’t have as many jokes as the previous ones, it definitely had more structure and even some character development & a good enough finale that didn’t take itself too seriously. I throughly enjoyed these books and will return to reread the series again later.
